Hi, I'm Ash!
I write several flavors of thrillers—mystery, psychological, and tropical—but what they all have in common are morally conflicted female leads who grapple with identity and ownership of their lives. I’m a character-driven author who’s a sucker for found or made families, and chances are high that there will be at least one puzzle, cipher, or secret code in each series I write, if not each book.
My stories follow characters like Hale Hastings, who notices what others miss and keeps digging long after she probably should, and Madison Cortez, who knows what she wants and is both relentless and willing to cross lines in order to get it.
Lessons from my own life—like being blamed for things I didn’t do, or learning that innocence alone doesn’t protect you—find their way into my writing.
Outside of the manuscripts, I’m a coffee addict (creamer mandatory), a PNW pug mom who loves hiking, and a homebody who loves to curl up with a heating pad and a good book.
